Gen Z Ulster FAQs

Short answers for anyone who wants to take action and build better habits.

Do I need to be religious to use this?

No. You are welcome whether you come from a faith background, a different tradition, or no faith at all.

What is this actually for?

It is for intentional change over Lent: pick what to cut back, pick what to start, and stay consistent day by day.

Is this about being strict or perfect?

No. It is about momentum, not perfection. Missed days happen. The goal is to reset quickly and keep moving.

Why abstain from things?

Abstaining creates space. It can improve attention, reduce compulsive habits, build self-control, and help you notice what actually matters.

What kind of commitments work best?

Keep commitments specific and doable. Example: "No doomscrolling after 10pm" or "10 minutes of quiet reflection each morning".

What is public in the feed?

Shared daily logs, support posts, and thread comments/replies are public to other app users. Avoid posting sensitive private information.

How do I report abuse or spam?

Use the report action on feed posts. Reports go to moderation review. Serious concerns can also be sent to info@lentlog.com.
