Overview
This policy explains what data Lent Log processes, where it is stored, and how shared content appears in the public feed.
What We Collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers via Supabase Auth.
- Profile data: display name, avatar selection, tone preference, sharing preference.
- Check-in data: day logs, missed notes, note text, encouragement line, mood.
- Community data: feed posts, supports/upvotes, thread comments/replies, and saved encouragement notes.
- Technical data: local storage entries required for app/session/queue state.
Technology Stack and Data Locations
- Client app: static HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Local device storage (browser
localStorage) includes:lent_tracker_v1(and per-user variants) for local app data.lent_supabase_session_v1for auth session state.lent_supabase_config_v1for public Supabase project config.lent_remote_queue_v1for queued offline sync operations.
- Remote storage: Supabase Postgres tables for profiles, check-ins, feed posts, supports, comments/replies, and abuse reports.
How Data Is Used
- To run daily check-ins, streaks, progress metrics, and reminders.
- To authenticate your account and sync your data across sessions/devices.
- To publish community feed content when you share updates and when you post support content/comments in the feed.
Public vs Private Data
Feed posts are visible to other users. Thread comments/replies on public posts are also visible to other users.
Daily logs are public only when sharing is enabled. Support posts are public when posted while signed in. Do not submit sensitive personal information in any public field.
Retention and Deletion
You can edit or remove local content in-app. Deleting browser storage or using logout/session reset can remove local data from your device.

Security
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your own device and email account.
Children
This app is not intended for children under the age required by your local data protection laws.
